The Global Resilience Institute at Northeastern University is looking for a Post Doctoral Research Associate to join their team. This position would play a research role in several community engaged studies that seek to improve community resilience. The grant funded position is to begin Spring 2024 with academic yearly renewals based upon funding and performance.

Position Description:

Responsibilities include participating and leading of activities for research funded community resilience projects in the U.S (and its territories) as well Caribbean Island nations. This position will lead the writing of academic papers; research development opportunities, managing data collection and curation; and helping supervise Undergrad or Graduate students.
This position will support several water-related projects from a community-engaged, social science perspective, therefore, interdisciplinary expertise is preferred. For example, the postdoc will support a CIROH-funded study that investigates how NOAA's National Water Model can support community resilience-related decision making and planning.
