The Bureau of Reclamation's Research and Development Office is seeking a recent or soon-to-be graduate to join the Open Water Data Program as a Civil Engineer (Water Data)! You'll be supporting Reclamation's efforts to make our data open and available to anyone who wants to use it. You'll get to learn about the huge variety of water, hydropower, and related topics that Reclamation works on across the Western US. You'll get to use both your engineering skills as well as your skills in programming and data manipulation to support data publication in the Reclamation Information Sharing Environment (RISE). This is a full-time position with the Bureau of Reclamation's Research and Development Office in Lakewood, Colorado.

Duties:
- Maintains awareness of developments in water resources management related engineering fields for the purpose of developing impactful research projects and to support continued Reclamation technical leadership in water resources management.
- Prepares and presents technical information on R&D programs and projects orally to a range of audiences including but not limited to internal staff, stakeholders, academia, partner agencies, and industry.
- May also develop complimentary materials - written or otherwise.
