Professional development activities targeting early career hydrologists effectively highlight career opportunities within and beyond academia; however, these conversations often overlook how early career hydrologists can “find their niche” within the large variety of career opportunities. For this year’s Navigating Academic Waters webinar series the AGU Hydrology Section Student Subcommittee is hosting a series of webinars and co-working meetings to help early career hydrologists develop essential skills that allow them to more effectively create the hydrologic niche that best aligns with their values and desired career goals.
Once a month this fall AGU H3S will host a webinar panel discussion with professionals in academia on an aspect of “finding your niche”. One week after each panel discussion, you have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on co-working meeting that will focus on developing skills discussed during the panel that month.
Register for the Co-Working Meetings, here.
The panel discussions for this series will be recorded and posted on the CUAHSI YouTube Channel.
